The "AM contemporary art" Collection includes works by numerous artists who, thanks to their generosity, but above all to the passion for art of the founder Angelina Melia, to her personal relationship with the authors, and to her willingness to support innovative research projects, constitute a corpus capable of surprising for some of its peculiarities and unpublished elements that are not usually found in collections built in a homogeneous way.

A Collection that has been enriched over time with the legacies of authors who have taken part in the dynamics of exchange of "Artists in Residence" with other countries, which in the Collection can be appreciated and followed in the various thematic segments and criteria or geographic area according to origin, which are proposed in the exhibition of temporary exhibitions scheduled at the MacAM (acronym of Museum of Contemporary Art AM).

In addition to the permanent collection, in the course of its activities the AM international association has created other collections of works given to organisations or cities that are partners in external projects: 

This is followed by a number of selections of individual research projects by artists present in the Collection, using not only pictorial techniques but also expressions such as photography, video, collage, polymateric objects, assemblage, etc.
